"Baby loved, we loved, and even big brother loved!" revealed a happy tester of the Baby Calm Down Bottle. They were really keen on the versatility and safety aspects of this toy, telling us that "it serves as a roller, teething toy, shaker, soother, sensory play and storm glass - it’s really, really sturdy". Another mum agreed, telling us, "I especially love how safe it is for my child due to the silicone lids on both sides and strong material that is unbreakable no matter how much your child throws it around."

Still, it doesn't matter how durable the toy is if the kids simply aren't interested. Luckily, the children of our testers loved it! One told us: "My young son who is 3 years old absolutely loves it and can play with it for anywhere from thirty to sixty minutes at a time. My son and I both love it, and it's one of the few sensory items like this that he enjoys". Another mum revealed, "My baby and toddler both really enjoyed playing with the toy and watching all of the glitter swirl around. It is very calming to watch too, and I was able to use this feature to help my toddler when she was upset". It sounds like it works a treat!

"We found the product easy to clean and therefore easy to maintain," claimed a pleased parent. Another parent also praised the design, highlighting the "soft silicone for baby to chew on and very difficult to take off the glue from the silicone, which my toddler attempted multiple times but did not succeed". Lots of testers told us it was a great teething aid, as well as a nice relaxing tool for fussy babies.

There were a few notes for improvement though - one mum told us "It is a little chunky for a baby to hold independently, so I wonder if there would be a way of adding some indentations or handles to help younger children". It does mean that this is probably best for slightly older kids, but if they're supported, younger babies could still enjoy the swirling glitter!

Final verdict

Overall, it's a super useful toy that really excels in versatility and durability. "It’s a staple in the changing bag for car journeys or trips out," revealed one mum, whilst another told us, "the colours are very pretty and I enjoyed the fact that this will be suitable for both genders and different ages". You'll get plenty of use out of it and it looks stellar, too.
