RYLOOBABY Sling

The RYLOOBABY Sling won Silver in the Mother&Baby awards 2024 for Best Baby Carrier/Sling or Back Carrier.

Testing the RYLOOBABY Sling

This RYLOOBABY Sling came beautifully presented in its own bag, and the material felt thick and soft and luxurious. It is a lovely soft grey/green colour, and looks like a premium product compared to other soft wrap stretchy slings I have seen. I have never used a wrap sling before, but it came with clear pictorial instructions, and a link to a video if you needed extra help. I found it easy to follow the instructions.

It's made of a beautiful soft material that is perfect when carrying a newborn or young baby. I have had a c-section with a scar that isn't healing and everything rubs but the soft material really does help keep that area comfortable without discomfort. It is super comfortable and supportive on my back and supports my child whilst feeling super connected.

Having our hands free to do anything with a newborn is a luxury although we have become experts in doing stuff with no hands or the one we have free! It is nice to have them back and able to get things done that are needed while keeping them also. Also having that connection with them close to you is a feeling of love I will never be able to describe. I will be travelling soon on a plane and will be using this whilst my daughter is on my lap not only to help with sleep but to help with the travel and connection flights as well as helping my back. She really does like being close to me and enjoys cuddles. With her neck getting stronger too she doesn't need to be tucked away so much.

I can continue household jobs like cooking and washing whilst baby is content being snuggled close to me in the RYLOOBABY sling. It minimises stress allowing me to feel like I can carry on as normal whilst attending to my newborn baby's needs too.

Final thoughts

This RYLOOBABY Sling is great for first-time mums and those with more experience. It's supportive, safe and lightweight providing optimum positioning for your baby, whilst also being deemed "hip-healthy" by the IHDI making it comfortable for you too!

The fabric used, Cotton and Spandex, makes this sling breathable whilst also being soft and durable, allowing this to be used all year round, even in the hotter months. The fact one size fits all and the great amount of colours it is available in creates a sling which will complement everything in your wardrobe.
