Here’s what our parents thought, read their review here...

How did this product make your life easier?

Joanne Akeju says: "As a busy mum I don't have a huge amount of time for long showers and moisturising, so being able to quickly apply this in the morning, after a shower is a real plus. The product is definitely helping keep my baby bump moisturised. The product is a really nice size - relatively compact to make it easy to transport and be stored away easily. The opening mechanism on the bottle is also better than a twist-off cap, which makes it easier to apply when you are in the shower, and less likely to spill."

Keri Alldritt says: "It’s a brilliant product which I’ve found great for a skin care routine. It’s easy to use, and doesn’t leave your skin feeling to oily. It smells absolutely amazing and unlike other products on the market it feels it absorbs really easily into my skin. It’s simple and quick to use, leaving skin feeling hydrated."

Sasha Bailey says: "This product makes my children's skin feel soft and well nourished. It's a very handy size, easily portable for trips away and a little goes a long way. I applied it to their wet skin and patted them dry. I found this much easier than all applying a cream to mobile children post bath! Also, my son gates the feeling of cream on his skin, but this was an acceptable alternative!"

Would you recommend this product to other parents?

Vicky Bantock says: "This product makes my life easier as its quick and easy to use, especially with a little one running around. It can be put on straight after a bath or shower and absorbs quickly into the skin. I loved that it was made from natural products and this made me feel good about using it on my skin. It would make me want to try other products in the range."

Chelsea Benson says: "I would recommend this to a friend as Its made my life a lot more comfortable! Im not scratching my sore skin. It takes no time at all to do as well as its really quick to apply. Its really light and not sticky or greasy and doesn’t stain your clothes! Its worth the money and its handy If you want to put a little or a lot on. I would even use this in everyday life not pregnant."

Jessica Bewley says: "I would highly recommend the Burts bees products to others because of its natural ingredients and amazing results I’ve had from it it helps skin to few soft and fresh again and Is an essential part of any mums selfcare routine i would say. And it is definitely worth trying even if you haven’t had a selfcare routine before"

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

Jasmin Blue says: "I would choose this product above all others on the market because most other products have got commonly soothing smells like lavender/camomile in them which is nice, but I was feeling really feeling tired most days and found the Burt’s bees mama bee body oil has helped me feel a bit more energised during the day. Also there’s not many products that contain 100% natural ingredients."

Fiona Brodbin says: "I have a body butter I prefer to use in pregnancy which feels richer on the skin, but as a versatile product for mum and baby I would purchase this in addition to my body butter, just not rely on it solely. Also I like that it is something you can use over your whole body, which is not something I would use my pregnancy body butter for. Therefore it supplements my existing pregnancy skincare regime."

Joanne Akeju says: "I would not choose this above all others on the market. It is great for the morning, post shower, but of an evening it doesn't really work for me. It is not easy to absorb in to the skin and therefore can leave grease stains, so if you apply before bed you can't get straight in to bed, without the risk of staining your bedding or nightwear. Additionally, of a morning, you need to leave it long enough before putting on your clothes to ensure it has absorbed. Additionally, in hot weather, it is nice to have the cooling effect of a cream product. The final point is that it doesn't help greatly with itchy skin, which is something I suffer with in pregnancy and find a thicker cream soothes this better."

What changes would you make to this product?

Keri Alldritt says: "I think the only thing I would change would be the cap of the bottle as when you close it there has been a little bit of oil leaking which means to transport it I’ve had to keep a King it or put it in a plastic food bag. If it had another type of cap or additional cap to prevent spillage that would really improve the ease to transport it."

Sasha Bailey says: "I feel like the product could be a little oilier as it was quite thin so dropped off the skin easily unless applied quickly to the skin. If it was thicker/ oiler it could be applied directly to the skin and may have been even more moisturising. The scent was gorgeous, but lacked longevity in my opinion."

Vicky Bantock says: "If I could change one thing I would put a spray nozzle on the bottle just to make application a little bit easier and more even. This would be especially useful on a very busy day. Otherwise I dont think that there is anything else that I would change about this product, I found it really easy to use, and it did what it was intended to do."
