At a glance:

The Philips AVENT Natural Feeding Bottle helps to make bottle feeding more natural for you and your baby. The teat features an innovative petal designed for a natural latch which is similar to the breast, making it easy to combine breast and bottle feeding for your baby.

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Danielle: I would recommend this product if the teat was a bit better fitting and easier to reassemble. The teat itself is a nice shape. It is soft and has flexibility without teat collapse. I would recommend this bottle for someone who is wanting to combine bottle feeding with breastfeeding. I would also recommend this bottle as it has an advanced anti-colic valve to reduce colic and discomfort. The bottle is good value for money.

Katy: I would recommend this bottle as it’s good quality, easy to clean and easy for my baby to hold which makes feeding time easier. It’s very robust and has a sturdy cap unlike some similar products on the market. It comes well packaged and has the option to change the teat flow to suit your baby’s age.

Roxanne: The bottle feels like a good quality product. Philips Avent is a brand you can trust and I would recommend this item to anyone. The bottle comes in four parts unlike some of the other anti-colic bottles you can buy. This makes it much quicker and easier to put together and clean. The bottle doesn't leak which is always a plus and it is easy to hold and grip whilst feeding. The bottle was also compatible with my Avent breast pump which was an added bonus.

How did this product make your life easier?

Rebecca: The shape of the teat allowed my son to latch on straight away with no problems despite having used the same brand bottle continuously for the past five months. I can imagine it working well for mothers who are combination feeding due to the breast-shaped teat. There are lots of teat choices but I did find the flow rate too strong.

Jessica: I love love love this product! I love the ease of assembling and dissembling the bottle! I also love the shape. It is easy for me and my baby to hold. My little boy loved it as he wants to feed himself and the shape was perfect for this.

Lavinia: The Avent bottle is easy to clean and the scales on the side are very easy to read. It was hard to test this as by the time the bottle had arrived, my baby was already using a faster flowing teat. My baby was a little reluctant to accept this bottle.

Would you choose this product to win?

Louise: There are a good variety of sizes and there is the option of having other colours. It is anti-colic which I always look for in a bottle. I don’t know whether I would automatically look at this brand over others as these are slightly more expensive. However, they are easy to hold and more breast-like.

Emma: I would choose this product because it was easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store and easy to transport! I think for the price it is very good value for money.

Jessica: I would definitely choose this product to win. I love feeding my son with this bottle and the size of it makes it perfect to fit multiples in the change bag! The teat is super soft and I like how it mimics a natural latch for baby. The bottle also comes in multiple colours and you have the option to add a sippy cup attachment when you start weaning.

What changes would you make to this product?

Danielle: If I could change one thing about this product it would be the fitting which the teat needs to push into in order for it to sit in place. It is extremely fiddly to get the teat back into position. I feel like this lets the bottle down. I would also prefer it if this bottle could be sterilised in the microwave too so it can be done when out and about.

Katy: I would include different teat flows in the box. When purchasing a bottle, if you have to purchase a different flow teat it is more costly.

Roxanne: It would be beneficial for the product to come with different sized teats. My little one was over three-months-old when I tried this product so I had to buy another teat so I could test it. It is understandable, but perhaps Avent could be the brand on the market to offer different sized teats with new bottles.
