Situated on the edge of the Theme park, the LEGOLAND Castle hotel captures magic everywhere you look. The grand entrance lobby where a giant Lego Wizard awaits is just the beginning of this hotels fun and character. The rooms are Wizard or Knight themed, each featuring magical Lego models and wall graphics. Each room has been cleverly designed with a separate sleeping area for children, with an abundance of Lego waiting to be played with. Walls are decorated to an incredible standard, and the illuminated stained glass features in every room. Everything has been created to captivate your child’s imagination and the attention to detail is remarkable.

The beds were comfortable and rooms are quiet, with little disruption from other guests. For those wanting an extra special treat, the tavern restaurant is situated within the castle hotel. This provides a la carte dining, serving a wide range of food, with a separate children’s menu. There is plenty to choose from and a good variety of food for all the family. The Tavern also has a play area for children, and the magic continues with the sleeping Lego Dragon resting above the fireplace.

Baby food needs to be taken as there is no option for this on the menu, however staff are more than happy to provide you with any baby spoons and bowls you may need. Highchairs are also readily available to use.

Hotel guests get the privilege of early access to the park, a chance to begin your day of fun at your leisure. Take advantage by planning out your route for the day before you enter, and jump on the popular rides at the start of the park first. There is a lot to see and do, so if you can plan your route none of the fun will be missed.

Baby friendly

Each room is equipped with a good-sized fridge. There is room to keep baby’s milk cool as well as snacks for those wanting to keep costs down by taking their own food into the park. Prices can be a little expensive for food and drink, so this is a good option if needed.

A travel cot is available upon request and there is enough space for this in the room without it feeling crowded, however bedding is not supplied so baby’s blankets and sheets need to be taken.

Every area of the theme park is fully accessible with a pushchair, with plenty of benches and grassed areas for little legs to rest for snack breaks. You will also find plenty of baby changing areas and toilets throughout the park.

There are buggy parking areas for busy rides so there are safe places to lock your pushchair up while riding on the many attractions.

Evening entertainment

The children’s entertainment is not to be missed. You will find everything from magic shows to storytelling, something to keep children of all ages thoroughly engaged. The skyline bar located in the LEGOLAND hotel serves are variety of drinks, with plenty of entertainment as well. There are also games consoles in a separate area of the bar for older children. Plus, as you would expect, Lego play areas.

Swimming

The hotel swimming pool is a great way to spend a relaxed hour with your little ones. The pool is lovely and warm with a shallow pool for small children which boasts a variety of activities including a slide and a seesaw, and of course, it wouldn’t be LEGOLAND without the floating Lego bricks! There is also a separate pool which is deeper for children who are more competent swimmers.

The Park also has outdoor water play areas, Splash Safari and Drench towers. These provides an abundance of water fun for children of all ages. There are changing rooms available and if you don’t fancy getting wet yourself, there are areas for you to watch your children play safety.

Something for everyone

If you have a love for anything theatrical the castle hotel will be non-stop fun from start to end. There is joy in every aspect, even the elevator is a fun filled experience. Children of all ages and adults will take pleasure in the great detail of this hotel and park. There is so much to see and enjoy here you will lose yourself in the magic, and the squeals of excitement from your children will last a lifetime!
