Because the photo space takes up half of the A4 page, the squares for each day are on the smaller side. For quick notes, reminders and small handwriting this is fine, but it's something to be aware of if the person you're gifting it to has a big family and a busy life and may need more room.

While you can't personalise this calendar with your own photos or text, we love that it comes attach to a magnetic board along with sticky notes that allow the user to personalise the calendar to their usage by adding extra notes and lists that can be thrown away when finished with. The fact that you have the option to hang it on the wall or magnetically attach it to the fridge is a bonus.

We adore the pretty pastel shade, and there is a less feminine colour option too, although the limited options still may not suit every taste. One of the best things about the design of this calendar though, is that the sqaures for each day are nice a big, so there's plenty of room to write appointments, reminders and even little doodles. It's a great size for a family calendar.

Again, while you can't add your own photos or images to this product, there's loads of room for personalisation during use, with it being a set of three dry-erase whiteboards. You get a separate monthly, weekly and daily planner that can be used over and over again - just wipe clean to refresh as needed.

Families may choose to use the monthly as the main family calendar, the weekly as a school planner for the kids, and the daily as a shopping list - so as you can see there's plenty of room for personalisation! As well as the three whiteboards, which are magnetic, you also get a set of 8 coloured dry-erase markers to further personalised notes and appointments with a colour-coding system, and a board eraser.

We love the practical size of these whiteboards, and the fact that they are made from strong, durable material - however, be awqare that they'll take up a lot of room on the fridge door, so if the person you're gifting to loves their fridge magnets and putting up their little ones' works of art, this may not be practical for them. There is the option to hang the boards on the wall though.

While this may not be the most practical planner for families as a whole, we love the idea of being able to take your family to work with you - so we think this personalised desk calendar makes a lovely gift for a mum or dad to keep on their office desk at work. It's a cute stocking filler too, and because it's pocket-sized it won't take up too much space.

While this calendar doesn't come pre-personalised, we loved the unique DIY design that enables the receiver to personalise the calendar they way they'd like, and the person gifting it doesn't have to try and find all the right photos to upload or add. Another great feature is that becuse you just slot your picture in without the need for glue, you can easily change the pictures throughout the year. It's a fun, budget-friendly, stocking -filler option for Christmas.
