This park is a proper family gem with pedal boats, funfair rides, a mini golf course and a fab playground. There’s also the Midlands Arts Centre next door if you fancy indoor crafts or a show. Entry is free, though some activities charge a small fee.
Speke Hall Gardens and Estate – Liverpool (Paid, National Trust)
A gorgeous Tudor house with lush gardens, woodland trails, and outdoor play areas. It’s great for a slower-paced day out where kids can run and explore nature. Ticketsare around £14.50 for adults and £7.25 for kids, or free with a National Trust membership.
