Dr Alice Wood

Alice Wood is a GP with over 10 years of clinical experience within both hospital and primary care settings. This includes experience as a GP working in an acute frailty team at the interface of hospital and community healthcare to understand the challenges and barriers to joined up, holistic health and social care.

Alice is also the Clinical Lead at Appt Health, a digital health technology company seeking to empower patients, promote preventative healthcare and reduce health inequalities.

She is an Advisory Board member for the Patient Information Forum.

Her experience includes:

• Substantial experience as a Clinical Safety Officer having designed and implemented clinical risk management activities in accordance with DCB0129
• Understanding of the regulatory landscape for software as a medical device (SaMD)
• Experience working with industry and giving due attention to relevant regulatory frameworks including the ABPI Code of Conduct
• Proficient at informing and writing SOPs relating to content creation
• Lead on successful accreditation with PIF TICK
• Advocate for patient engagement and co-creation across digital health solutions
